Types of MSW projects undertaken in REEL

A) Integrated Municipal Solid Waste management facility which typically includes:

• Door to door collection of waste and storage.
• Collection of waste from storage points and transportation of the waste to a Transfer Station.
• Construction, operation and maintenance of Transfer Station.
• Secondary transportation of waste from Transfer Station to Processing Facility.
• Processing of waste by means of composting and Waste to Energy plant. It also includes construction, operation and maintenance of the facility.
• Disposal of waste by means of scientific landfill. It includes construction, operation and maintenance.
• Capping of existing dump sites.

These are currently being executed at Delhi (MCD), Hyderabad, Guwahati & Haldia

B) The Integrated MSW processing facility typically comprises of:

• Processing of waste by means of composting. It also includes construction, operation and maintenance of the facility.
• Disposal of waste by means of scientific landfill. It includes construction, operation and maintenance.
• Capping of the landfill.

These are currently being executed at Bangalore, Belgaum, Coimbatore, Kottayam, Koyambedu and Shimoga.

C) Primary / Secondary collection and transport which typically comprises of:

• Door to door collection of waste.
• Secondary collection of waste from bins.
• Transfer and transportation of the waste to processing site.

These are currently being executed at New Delhi (NDMC), Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolhapur and Aurangabad.

The Company is also pursuing opportunities in MSW in Far East Asia and MENA countries.
