All the facilities are in line with the international guidelines – they sport double composite liner landfills with leachate collection arrangement following USEPA’s RCRA Subtitle C requirements for landfills. Waste received in these facilities are disposed off by three modes - direct land filling, stabilization of waste followed by land filling or by incineration. All these facilities are in compliance with the rules and guidelines laid down by the Central Pollution Control Board and Ministry of Environment and Forests, New Delhi.

Ramky is presently operating India’s largest hazardous waste incinerator at Taloja, a facility on par with the world’s best incinerators with minimum emissions. The technology rights for the incinerator have been obtained from Alstom-Raymond Air Pre-heater Company, USA.

Ramky also undertakes waste transportation using completely mechanized systems wherein waste-filled containers are loaded onto the trucks using mechanical truck-mounted cranes or hook lifts. The organization has successfully integrated imported cranes on Indian trucks, reducing human exposure to loading and unloading of waste. The systems in use are the best in terms of occupational safety. They comply with the Guidelines enunciated by the Central Pollution Control Board and are on par with international industry standards.
